affix -dër
[dɚ]*
verbaliser
(VBZ)
 Mattinese
Etymology
inherited affix, cognates with  Modern Standard Sutti: -ater
Notes
trisyllabic laxing applies in many words with this suffix

This suffix becomes -ter after stems ending in a voiceless consonant; also, for stems ending in /Vd/ or /Vt/, the ending -/d/ or -/t/ are replaced with /s/ before taking this suffix.

Due to the influx of loanwords from Romance, Slavic and (to a lesser extent) Germanic languages, the inherited verbalisers are not as productive as their counterparts in Modern Standard Sutti.
