Notes
verbalizer + CAUS

This is a suffix that turns nouns and adjectives into causative verbs, therefore they are all transitive verbs. The verbal paradigm is the same for other "-aj" class verbs.

As it is a CAUS, it implies the existence of an agent, or someone who intentionally does the N or A. This is in contrast to the verbalizing suffix "-aj", which does not imply an agent. The same result may happen, but it was unintentional/caused by time.

E.g. k'ej "smooth" > k'ejaj "smoothen" > k'ejajk' "make smooth"
P'iphik'ejaj iwth us wenispoum
REC-PFV-smoothen path.ABS after rain-EVENT-GEN
"The trail smoothened after the rain"
VS
P'iphik'ejajk' se iwthrumu t'isipoaj sum
REC-PFV-smoothen-CAUS 1.SG-ERG path-PROX-ACC walk-EVENT-INSTR 1.SG-GEN
"I smoothened this trail with my walk."
