I keep changing what the letters look like, if I want it to be cursive, how/if the logograms should be used, etc
These are the characters in one of Nolwynn's writing systems. This particular one is a simple alphabet that still uses a handful of logograms.
Nolwynn has two writing systems: an alphabet inspired by the shapes of ocean waves and a logographic system. Although the two are often combined, the logographic system is used primarily by shamans. A circle beneath a letter usually indicates an ejective; the one exception is the symbol for /ɬ/. Two dots stacked above a letter indicates tone, while three indicates a lengthened vowel. The last row shows a few of the logograms that are often mixed into the alphabet. There are a few others as well.
This poster shows an example of the combined system:
The spiral at the end of the first line is a logogram meaning "a place."
