Hello! Nattyhred!In this first lesson, we're going to talk about Tihrkian pronouns, or okhkefyroker (the plural of okhkefyroke).
Tihrkian has four singular pronouns, five plural pronouns and an impersonal pronoun. We are going to separate them into informal/casual ones and formal ones. First, we have the informal ones:
- Singular pronouns (Okhkefyroker ihnanx)
- Nhe [ɲɛ]: 1SFirst person singular (person)
speaker, signer, etc.; I
- Nehdh [nɛ:ð]: 2SSecond person singular (person)
addressee (you)
- Xen [ʃɛn]: 3SThird person singular (person)
neither speaker nor addressee, as there is no distinction in gender
- Plural pronouns (Okhkefyroker syppanx)
- Naitsirk [najt͡sɪɾk]: 1PIFirst person plural inclusive (person)
we (inclusive), as chúng ta in Vietnamese
- Nhei [ɲɛj]: 1PEFirst person plural exclusive (person)
we (exclusive)
- Aneselox [anɛsɛlɔʃ]: 2PSecond person plural (person)
addressee (plural)
- Xeni [ʃɛni]: 3PThird person plural (person)

Now let's go to the formal ones:
- Nehdhsyfnhe, pronounced as [nɛ:ðsəfɲɛ], means «you» (2SSecond person singular (person)
addressee (you)) in a very formal way, as it literally means “you above me”. It's only used to address someone in the royal family or any unknown person ONLY for the first time, since it's considered rude to keep using “nehdhsyfnhe” after meeting someone (it may mean that you don't want to know them at all).
- Aneseloxsyfnhe, pronounced as [anɛsɛlɔʃsəfɲɛ], means «you» (2PSecond person plural (person)
addressee (plural)) or «you all» in a very formal way, as it literally means “you all above me”. It's only used to address someone in the royal family or any unknown person ONLY for the first time, since it's considered rude to keep using “aneseloxsyfnhe” after meeting someone (it may mean that you don't want to know them at all).
And, finally, the impersonal pronoun e [ɛ], used for weather verbs, “dummy it”, “one…”, and the rest of impersonal verbs.
And with that the lesson about pronouns! Keep in mind that it's mandatory to specify the pronoun, as Tihrkian is a non-pro-drop language.
