Na! (“Hi!”). In this lesson, we are going to learn about adverbs (ymfafyri, the plural form of ymfafyr):
  • Aiva: always. ( Tihrkian,  Southern Tihrkian [ajva],  Xixanian [ajvʲa])
  • Urtati: usually. ( Tihrkian,  Southern Tihrkian [ʊɾtatɪ],  Xixanian [ʊɾtʲatʲɪ])
  • Xlahb: often. ( Tihrkian [ʃla:b],  Southern Tihrkian [ʃlab],  Xixanian [ʃlʲa:b])
  • Tattat: sometimes. ( Tihrkian,  Southern Tihrkian [tatʰat],  Xixanian [tattat])
  • Ranxymfa, as men: rarely. ( Tihrkian,  Southern Tihrkian [ɾanʃəmfa / as mɛn],  Xixanian [ʐanʃəmfʲa / as mʲɛn])
  • Men: never. ( Tihrkian,  Southern Tihrkian [mɛn],  Xixanian [mʲɛn])

  • In Tihrkian, normally, every adverb comes before the whole verb (subject included).
