A non-finite clause is a dependent or embedded clause whose verbal chain is non-finite, the to-infinitive clause in English is an example of non-finite clause.
In Kavrinian, non-finite clauses are led by a verb in the infinitive form, the subject of the non-finite clause is in the dative case. As in English, non-finite clauses often act as nominal phrases, and they can be the subject, object, predicate and complements of a sentence. For example:
