?FYI...
This article is a work in progress! Check back later in case any changes have occurred.

Arlaen has older standalone forms, as well as verb endings which are preferred in daily speech. The pronouns reflect a strong sense of connection and community, and an animist view of the world.

1st person:

Singular or "me and mine, the group I'm part of, etc"
Subject: inne, -n, -nne
Object: an, -n,
Possessive: inwe, -nwi (sometimes spelled -nwy until I change it)
Plural/collective (for referring someone as part of a group, and/or referring to the group itself): ilne/-lne (s), alne/-lne (o), ilni/-lni (poss).

"we" (inclusive or unspecified)
Subject: imme, -mme
Object: ame, -me/-mme
Possessive: imwe, -mwi
Plural/collective: ilme/-lme, alme/-lme, ilmi/-lmi.

2nd person:
All plurals can be used as either singular or "you and yours etc" unless stated.

Familiar. This form is not used to denote lower social status.
Subject: ithre, -th, -the (double thorn)
Object: ath, -th
Pos: ithwe, -thwi
Plural/col: ilte/-lte, alte/-lte, ilti/-lti.

Formal, neutral.
Subject: ixre, -k, -xe (sometimes spelled ch)
Object: ak/axe, -k
Pos: ikwe, -kwi
Plural/col: ilke/-lke, alke/-lke, ilki/-lki.

Formal + emotional closeness (the "love and respect" form)
Subject: isse, -s, -sse
Object: as, -s
Pos: iswe, -swi
Plural/col: ilse/-lse, alse/-lse, ilsi/-lsi.

3rd person
All plurals can be used as either singular or "you and yours etc" unless stated.

Feminine
Subject: ire, -r, -rre
Object: ar, -r
Pos: iri, -ri
Plural/collective: ilre/-lre, alre/-lre, ilri/-lri (this form can be used regardless of the genders of whoever else is in the collective group)

Masculine
Subject: ide, -d, -dde (-rde/dre?)
Object: ad, -d
Pos: idi, -di
Plural/col: ilde/-lde, alde/-lde, ildi/-ldi (same note applies)

Neutral (can be used for singular they)
Subject: ive, -v, -vre/-vve
Obj: av, -v
Pos: ivi, -vi
Plural/col: ilve/-lve, alve/-lve, ilvi/-lvi (same note applies).

Non-specified person, most likely an individual (like "one" or general "you" in Eng)
Sub: ife, -v, -fre/-ffe
Obj: afe, -f
Pos: ifi, -fi
Plural/col: ilfe/-lfe, alfe/-lfe, ilfi/-lfi (they can belong to a group even if they're an individual)

Non-specified group
Sub: ille, -l, -lle
Obj: al, -l
Pos: ilwi, -lwi
This *is* the plural/collective form!

Any of the third person pronouns can be used to translate English "it." Arlaen doesn't make a distinction between humanoids and other parts of the world.

The standalone forms are also used for "myself, yourself, etc" and "mine, yours, etc."
If you have a subject and an object, attach the subject first and then the object ending (mirinneth "I see you.")
You can also (especially in poetry) use the standalone object before the verb+subject ending. (an thandereav "it carries me")

I'm thinking of a -t- form that may be used for emphasis (or something else?), but for now the full forms can be used for that.
