About Sacred Earth
Sacred Earth is the language of Earthen aesthetic. It's orthography and grammar are inspired loosely by West Germanic and Skandanavian languages, with the phonetic assembly of Romance languages. It's dictionary is heavily structured, with most verbs and nouns originaling from a specific root (or combination of roots). Sentences are formed in SVO order, as in English, with a required subject listed, as verbs do not conjugate to indicate person. Instead of nouns declining grammatically, the roots "decline" poetically to form a family of related terms; the six noun genders are active, common, abstract, natural, omnipotent, and sacred. For example, the root spex-, meaning "to speak," translates to the following in each gender respectively: speech, story/history, word, birdsong, conversation, language.
