PART III. MORPHOLOGY.THE morphology of Naduta may be classed into two subsections: that of structural morphology, and that of etymology. Both rely primarily on the use of suffixes to indicated inflections in the former and derivational forms in the latter.
STRUCTURAL MORPHOLOGY
THE Naduta language differentiates between eight classes of word:—Noun, Pronoun, Verb, Adjective, Ad-verb, Postposition, Conjunction, and Interjection. Of these, the noun, pronoun, verb, and adjective necessarily take inflections indicative of that word’s role within a sentence, as well as, when required, an inflection indi-cating plurality; the postposition requires a single inflec-tion which occurs only in one specific instance, while the adverb, con-junction, and interjection are always unin-flected.
