About Haksan
Haksan is a language spoken by the inhabitants of Haksea. Haksan is inspired by a combination of Scots Gaelic, Old Norse and modern Scandinavian languages. The Haksan autonym, Hakseff, derives from "aff de haksej", literally of the witches, which references how the language was said to originally be spoken exclusively by witches, before expanding out to become the majority language across Haksea.
