About Torqoic
Torqoic is a language that I am designing to be Turkic in nature, but not inherently inspired from any Turkic language. I am trying to make it such that the words are reminiscent of English, but the structure is Turkic.
It is spoken in Torqistan, a mostly desert nation inhabited by several indigenous tribes of Torqoic peoples. All of the tribes assemble once a year to settle disputes, manage trade, and make marriage alliances. These events are serious ordeals since they determine the future of all the tribes.
The language itself is relatively standard across all of the tribes, but each tribe has a different manner of speaking. So the dialects differ mainly in terms of their semantics and discourse, but not necessarily their grammar and syntax
