About Taurean
A very distant Romance language spoken by the Taurean Empire, a short-lived empire around the Black Sea around 1800. The language lived on, but not for long in the country of Taurea, which was later annexed to Russia as part of Crimea. The language is descended from Latin, but with significant Greek, Slavic, Armenian, Georgian, and Turkic admixtures.
