About Rasap
Rásap is the official language of the Republic of Rijmun. It is the most widely-spoken language in the country and in its major cities, such as Rijks; Tajara is not used as a lingua franca in the country. Along with Tajara, Rásap is widely used in industry and in the field of Computer Science because of Rijmun's many important contributions to those fields. Many people learn Rásap so they may study at the University of Rijmun at Rijks (Rijmunis Sätymkör Rijksandas).
While Rásap is divided between a few major dialects, the one described here is "Rásap Väsheillimis", or Standard Rasap (specifically, "Rasap of the Väsheillim", which is the river that runs through Rijks). The other two major dialects are Rásabukh, which is spoken out in the country, and Rijksymnas, which is the colloquial dialect of the city of Rijks.
