About Bengenese Bengenese features an English-like grammar and a vocabulary from Germanic, Slavic and Romance languages as it is settled in the Balkans, Eastern Europe. The main sources of vocabulary are Danish, Russian, Romanian, Hungarian, Serbian and German. It has suffered many changes halfway as I learnt more about conlangs, polishing Bengenese grammar and ortography. Previously Bengenese took words from Korean, Hebrew and Arabic but they are all deprecated now and new words from the source languages above are taken. I've created several projects in Bengenese, the most important are Bendict, an online, Wiktionary-style dictionary; and Benpedia, an encyclopaedia. Visit Bendict for an up-to-date dictionary of my conlang.

[edit] [view] nordestisk (Northeastern)The Northeastern dialect is chiefly spoken in North Romania and Moldova. It is known for using accusative pronouns with verbs to make them reflexive and a stronger presence of the schwa /ə/ sound, in contrast with Standard Bengenese.
[edit] [view] ezaknjugatí (Northwestern)The Northwestern dialect is chiefly spoken in the Hungarian region. Some of its key differences from Standard Bengenese are: plural not being used with numerals and time expressions, the use of "ón" as formal second-person pronoun, and changes of usual syntax in order to mark focus in a sentence.
[edit] [view] jugosapadnesk (Southwestern)The Southwestern dialect of Bengenese is chiefly spoken in the Serbian region. It is characterised by assimilate all vowels to only /ä/, /e/, /i/, /o/, and /u/. The sound /v/ is absent, being replaced entirely by /ʋ/. It also incorporates many Serbo-Croatian words that Standard Bengenese lacks, making them typical of Southwestern Bengenese.
