About Old High Arunne
After the fall of the last major stronghold of the Einarr Peoples in the Second Incursion, the Proto-Arunne peoples were displaced into the Seirin Mountains. Here, they developed Pre-Literary Arunne (PLA) and the associated Old Form Script as they spread through the river valleys hidden in the mountains and the fertile west of the continent. With the unification of the Arunne Peoples under the First Arunne Empire stretching from the Seirin Mountains to the Klovilen Traps, a common language and culture was needed to unite the disparate tribes. Thus, the Old High Arunne language - considered the ancestor to the Arunne Languages, was codified.
