About Old Taje
Old Taje is a liturgical language with no native speakers. It's influence remains in the languages related to classical Pakkia, Angras and Kuxnay.
- Taje is mainly SVO, but doesn't have a consistant head-directionally and many phrases can be structed as SOV
- Verbs, Adjectives and Adverbs don't conjugate, instead being marked by auxiliaries after the base word.
- Consonant length or gemination is very important, with nasal being able to be geminated not just once (n:), but twice (n::).
- There are four tones in Taje, high (á), low (à), rising (â), and falling (ǎ)
- Taje is strictly CV, with vowel-inital words being permitted, but not common.
