About Odaken
Odaken is the first language in the Odaken language family. It is now a dead language, but other languages decending from Odaken is still spoken today in the Honda-region of Jaime. Other languages (like Gothab and Manskolian) which are also spoken in Jaime has given many borrowings to Odaken, especially during the Gothabian Invasion.
Now to the more linguistic stuff:
It has a kind of wierd phonology with many retroflex consonants, and the more normal alveolar consonants exists only as allophones. Odaken has five vowels a [a], i [i], u [ʉ], e [e] and o [o] and four diphthongs ai, ei, ui and oi. It also has a pitch-accent system, kind of like in Japanese. High is marked with an ´ (á, ó, ú, é, í) and low with a ` (à, ò, ù, è, ì).
Odaken is an agglugating language. There are three genders, flowing (water and fire are examples), steady (rock and tree are examples) and living (human and dog are examples).
Its verbs are negated, and an affix is used to un-negate them. It has, other than definite and indefinite articles, also not-enough indefinite article (like 'just an orange').
