About Northspeak
Origins of Northspeak
After feeling dissatisfied with Norþic, I wanted to create a simpler phonology and more intuitive grammar and vocabulary. Many of the new changes are inspired by Teutonish, the original Intergermanic conlang.
Features
-Phonemic Orthography
-Only 2 conjugations for verbs
-SVO order
-Shortened spellings of Germanic words, but they still maintain the roots and sounds of their brother and sister words.
Plural nouns are shown through the suffix -(i)r
