American Bridgish is the language of most causeway trolls in America. It stems from (lit. splashes off/out of) British and German Bridgish, and American speakers most often understand trolls from Britain and Germany.

Language things:
  • Lots of vowels in hiatus ([a'i] contrasting with ['aj]).
  • No case marking.
  • No distinction between locative (at) and allative (to) senses of location-related adpositions.
  • Very ergativity.
  • One or two lexically-headed auxiliary verbs.
  • Slightly head-first word order.
