About Wekusian
Wekusian, or Wekusedafūa (literally "West-Tongue") is a geographically-isolated satem-branch Indo-European language. The easternmost representative of the IE family, Wekusian is spoken mostly in the Ryukyu Islands and, to a limited extent, parts of mainland Japan. Centuries of contact with its East Asian neighbor has irrevocably altered the phonology and structure of Wekusian to more closely resemble Japanese, though its core grammar and vocabulary remain decidedly Indo-European. It is usually written using a pseudo-rōmaji script, but occasionally uses a modified form of Hiragana.
