About Gwaydith
I started many years ago creating just a few words here and there as needed for a story, but ended up deciding the story was junk, but the language was interesting. Sadly, I lost almost everything I had on it (~200 words + grammar structure) except for a few things I'd memorized. For quite a while, I abandoned the daunting project, but I always loved language and have picked up a smattering of several languages over the years. About 8 years ago, I was introduced to Dungeons & Dragons. I am DMing a campaign, but it was thrown together in haste. While working on our current campaign, I'm also worldbuilding a homebrew setting for the next. I had recently started tinkering with my conlang again when the DM chair was thrust upon me. I'm thinking I may drop a bit of my conlang into the new campaign here and there as one of the few things remaining from an extinct civilization. I am aiming for something with a bit more consistent structure than English, though, of course, like any natural language, I'm sure it will end up with some quirks and oddities over time.
