About Laucanish
Modern Standard Laucanish is essentially based on the ancient language with modernized vocabulary and phonological, morphosyntactic and lexical changes common to all or most modern dialects. This is a continental P-Celtic language closely related to Gaulish, spoken south of Gallia proper and influenced by Hellenic dialects in the area and to a lesser extent, Latin from the southeast and Mescian from the southwest.
