About Kagocha Daklawedian is an artlang/slightly-a posteriori lang spoken in Daklawedi, a concountry I made. It's loosely based on the Athabaskan languages, the Ojbwean languages, the dialects of Inuktitut, and Haida, plus some things from other languages of North America (particularly Mayan hieroglyphs) and whatever I happen to find interesting on any given day. Features include:
- Both vowel and consonant harmony, which sometimes work together and sometimes don't
- An emphasis on verbs, with more verbs than nouns and more ways to inflect verbs than to inflect nouns
- No adjective, they're replaced with verbs (*doggo is vv cute --> doggo cutes vv much)
- Two writing systems, a shorthand syllabary and a complex hieroglyphic system
- Distinguishing between animate (including otherwise-inanimate things that are holy and therefore animate, like certain mountains and waterfalls) and inanimate (which, in certain contexts, can include otherwise-animate things, e.g. shunned people and things)
Sample of KagochaCan't find any yet.
