About Kahlian
Kahlian was a dialect spectrum spoken in the various polities of Kahlire, a region bounded by highlands and the Kalarin Straits, in the same conworld as Sáharían, to which it's closely related.
Like its sister language Early Célibrían, Kahlian is active-stative and decidedly fusional. It has four genders, six cases (five for the neuter), a fairly integrated tense-aspect set (progressive and habitual aspects in the present and past, a three perfect tenses, and a couple futures), and makes heavy use of participles.
Kahlian evolved into Northern and Southern varieties (though the hazy boundary remained), and while the Northern branch had a descendent survive until -100, the Kahlian languages ultimately went extinct, losing out to the local dialect of Imperial Hlorasan.
