About Egaic
Egaic is a Richitic language, and is in the Mardalic Spienic branch, thus making it related to Jawa, extinct languages like Darwi, Pardanbaj, Darmyl and Saia, and very distantly related to Jaic, Craic and Racaic.
Jaic, Craic and Racaic are the most widely spoken Richitic languages in the Tarkuk Spienic branch.
The distant relationship with the languages above is shown with the high difference in vocabulary, as well as in grammatical features, such as:
-it is agglutinative, apart from Racaic, all the other languages above are fusional
-it does not have any noun cases
-unlike the languages above(other than Jaic), the plurals are extremely irregular
-has a lot more inflections in tense, mood and aspect
-perfective endings retained(-ar), unlike all of the languages above
-does not have any alienability, another feature shared with Racaic
-does not have paucal forms in number, unlike all of the languages above
-no transitive/intransitive difference, unlike all but Racaic again
-animate ending retained(eh/ah), lost in all other kanguages above
The species speaking Egaic are called Egas, and like Jays, face little or no discrimination at all.
