About Brezeh Creating Brezeh, I am trying to find the balance between simple and exotic. It has a priori grammar and mixed vocabulary drawing elements from English, German, Dutch, Bulgarian, Slavic, and other languages, but it contains a lot of a priori words as well. The interesting here is that one of the main reasons to start making this language is the logographic system which will be based on it. In school, I am using loads of different abbreviations and logographic characters to improve my hand-writings' speed. From the 9th to the 11th grade, these characters got so much that I had to make a 'dictionary' of them - they are nearly 400. I realized that they could be much less had I been more systematic and thus, decided to make a language that would be highly efficient at derivating roots – this way Brezeh was born. It's the first conlang of mine which was created independently from a conculture, however, I started using it for Vederas, which is rather vague of a nation but is evolving slowly. Brezeh is very close to complete but it won't be so for months to come because I am really pretentious about the degree of derivational efficiency my language gotta have, and make some large-scale repairs. The more, I want to be able to express almost everything in a fore-set bunch of ≈1000 words and thus will have to check a whole dictionary and add the last roots before declaring it 'complete'. And then I have to make the logographs...
