About Baamin -How many vowel do you want?
Baamin: yes

Baamin is spoken by around 60 000 persons in 4 remoted valleys in south-west of  Retenia. Like the majority of languages that came from  Dunari, there are a lot of monosyllabic words at least at nominative case (an in opposition with the languages that came from  Old Retenian, like  Standard Retenian or  Makarian for example).

But the main feature that differentiate this language is the disparition of consonant clusters and also the disparition of the diphtongue that lead to a great diversity of vowels. Baamin is considered as the language with the greatest number of phonemic vowels in Retenia and is very hard to learn the pronounciation for peoples whose mother tongue is  Standard Retenian.

There is a phonemic distinction between long/short vowels and also nasal vowels.

Word order is SOV
Adjectives come before nouns
Possessor come before the possessee and the possessive particle comes after the possessee and follow a vocalic harmony rule depending if it's a front or back vowel.

Ex:
Ny i té [ny i tæ] = "God of night"

Today, this language is considered endangered due to small number of speakers even if it's still massively spoken in the Baamin's homeland but the local population diminue due to the migrations of numerous Baamin speakers to the cities and an important number of migrants that decide to remain in cities don't transmit the language to their child.

Even if it has no official statute in the two provinces when it's autochtone, the language has an official statute in the local municipalities and is nowadays protected. It's teached in schools in the municipalities where is spoken. There is also local radios or TV channels in Baamin
