About Tunisian
Afarqa (aka Tunsi or Mauli) is the modern descendant of Latin in North Africa. Through its history, it was heavily influenced by Berber, Sicilian, Arabic, Mozarabic, Italian and French. Spirantization, syncope and metastasis worked together to create a very distinct Romance language.
