Rhainyrese is the official language of the Rhaineen Empire, spoken by over sixty million people, a quarter of which consider it as their first tongue. It is native language of the Rhainy, and it is a member of the Rhainish language family. It has a very long recorded history, but the standard dialect was created in the 1290s by the government based on the dialect spoken by the middle class people living in Ykjoose, the capital city. There are various dialects spoken in the empire, but they are in rapid decline because they are taught to be "vulgar" and a mark of the "uneducated."

I took inspiration from Japanese to develop Rhainyrese grammar, and also tried to incorporate elements of Tagalog by using something similar to Austronesian alignment in sentence structure. As such, Rhainyrese has phonology similar to both and is considered to have mora system instead of syllables.
