Agroppidan takes after Latin primarily, but with many Germanic loanwords for local experience and other things, plus Italian, Hungarian, French, Slavic, & English loanwords, but less of those. English loanwords primarily relate to the modern world, and most place names are Germanic (except for ones in Italy). All three genders still exist, with the 4 declensions (taking out the former fourth declension) all being used for a range of genders.Grammar
Nouns
Nouns use the 5 common Latin cases, ditching the vocative. Articles have appeared, attached before the noun by gender, distinctly un-Latin
Verb
Agroppidan trims the 140-some forms of Latin down to 64, cutting all passives, the supine, and some forms of future tense. No pronouns have separated themselves from verbs. The 4 conjugations are still intact as conjugations, but the ending somewhat changed, mostly for the shorter.
Adjectives
Most adjectives now only have to agree with the subject in gender, but can still be conjugated. Some adjectives (mostly numerals, but a few others, mostly loanwords) are only neuter despite whatever the subject is.
