In 1919 the first manuscript of the Ostracalic language was discovered, some words on a burnt piece of paper, but still Venstali Archiologist's managed to decode the language on the paper and figured out that it read "ᚷᛟᚺᛗᚢᚾᚹᛇᚿ ᛏᛁᚺᛋᚴ ᚨᚾ ᚾᚨ ᛟᛋᛏᚱᚨᚴᚨᛚ ᚢᛗᛈᚦᛇᚿ" (which translates to "Glory to The Ostracal Empire"). After the discovery of that little piece of paper the best Venstali archiologist's were tasked with finding as much information on The Ostracal Empire as possible, and on the 20th of August 1921 a whole Ostracal village was discovered on the islands just off the coast of the mainland of The Republic Of Venst ( The Republic Of Venst (which is the country of one of my other languages)) and multiple artifacts relating to the language were found:
"ᚢᛏᛋ ᚨᚢ ᚢᚢᚱ ᚠᛁᚺᛋᚴᚦ ᛒᛟᛉᛅᛁ ᚢᛟᛖᚦ ᛋᛖᚺᚢᚱᛖᚺ ᛞᚢᛗᚱᛟᚹᚢᚾ ᚨᚾ ᛁᚾᚢᚾᛏᚨᛚ" (Which translates to "One of our fishing boats was severely damaged today")
"ᚠᛁᚺᛋᛏ ᚾᚨ ᚨᚾ ᚺᛟᚾᚱᚢ ᚱᛟᚺᛗᚨᚺᚾ ᚢᛗᛈᚦᛇᚿ" (Which translates to "Fuck the Holy Roman Empire")
and a decree sent by what is believed to have been the king (or "ᚢᛗᛈᚦᛖᛁᚾ") of The Ostracal Empire "ᚨᚾ ᛒᚱᛇᛏᚦᚨᚢ ᚢᛖ ᛉᚺᛟᛚᚾᛁᛏ ᚾᛁᚿᛏ ᚠᛇᚾᚺᚢᛏᚱᚨ ᛒᛇᚾ ᛉᛁᛋ ᛉᚢᚴᛟᚾᛏᛖᚱᛁᛅ ᛇᚺᚦ ᚢᚢᚱᚢ ᚾᚨ ᚢᚨᛚ ᛇᚺᚠ ᛇᚺᛏ ᛇᚺᚦ ᚢᛁᛉ ᚢᚢᚱ ᛞᛁᚺᚿᚦ ᛒᚨᚱᛇᚦᚢ ᚢᛖ ᛉᚺᛟᛚᚾᛁᛏ ᛈᚱᛟᛉᚺᚴᛇᚾᚦ ᚢᚢᚱ ᛉᚢᚴᛟᚾᛏᛖᚱᛁᛅ ᛗᛇ ᛟᚺᛞᛁᚺᚾ ᚢᚾᚦ ᚾᚨ ᚷᛇᚺᛞᚢ ᛒᛁ ᚢᛁᛉ ᛞ ᚷᛟᚢᛞᛁᚾ ᛚᚢᚴᚨᚱ ᚨᚾ ᛒᚱᛇᛏᚦᚨᚢ" (Which translates to "Brothers we shall not fall back this land is ours and even if it is with our dying breath we shall protect our land may Odin and the gods be with you good luck brothers")

A little later, in the year 1925 (when The Republic Of Venst was at war with The Weimar Republic) a version of the bible was found, and what was interesting was that it was in Ostracalic, it was at this point that government officials thought about using Ostracalic as a code language (They had trouble with spies from The Weimar Republic gaining knowledge of plans) and so therefore started teaching it to generals and a select few others.
