How to tell the difference between t-ẗ and m-µ when they are capitalised. When µ is capitalised it becomes M and when ẗ is capitalised it becomes T. These letters are then indistinguishable from m (M) and t (T). There is no practical way to tell the difference, it must be memorised. For example, the words 'muŝ' (drop [as in lemon drop]) and 'µuŝ' (cap) become indistinguishable when both are capitalised ('Muŝ' and 'Muŝ'); however, context will oft aid in distinguishing the difference.
Because of this problem there is a phrase in Panmalt: 'toujourliqŝakumilkuµ llukvißkumájilliµulkahajaitllimulka' [always mind the 'm' and the 'µ' because when capitalised your 'µulka' (towel) might become you 'mulka' (electrical wire).] ✎ Edit Article ✖ Delete Article
