[edit] [top]Word Order and Syntax

Ithril is primarily SOV with some exceptions, most importantly the copula 'ez' is always before the object and with imperatives the verb is also before the object.

'le ez ibjadjo' - 'I am scandalous'
'jenyafozil nye mal' - 'Marry him!'
'le pshi mal jenyafo' - 'I marry her'

[edit] [top]Orthography

There are two forms of acceptable Ithril orthography: 'direct form' and 'romanised form'

'Direct form' is the one I use here on CWS and is more of a direct transliteration from the script used to write it.
'Romanised form' is easier to read but less obvious as to what the pronunciations are:

Plosives do not gain a letter after corresponding to the vowel after.
'ty' and 'dy' are spelled 'th' and 'dh'
'ny' is 'nn'
'c' is either '|' or '!'
'j' is 'y'

direct - "tjaf pjara dzepshi bja mogzani lireshonal mifaca" " nye vegjom zelo pwe vivim pshenle ez nye djofom"
romanised - "taf para depi ba mogani lireshonal mifa!a" " nne vegom zelo pwe vivim penle ez nne dofom"

Ithril is a pretty complex language so I cannot explain everything in this article, so keep in mind that not everything is set in stone. And more will be added soon.
