DIPHTHONG LOSS
/a͡ɪ/ (as in lie) becomes /a:/
/e͡ɪ/ (as in face) becomes /ɛ:/
/o͡ɪ/ (as in toy) becomes /ɔ:/

INTERVOCALIC FLAPPING
/t/ & /d/ become /ɾ/ between vowels

COT CAUGHT MERGER
/ɔ/ becomes /ɑ/

CODA SYMPLIFICATION
/ld/ becomes /l/
/nd/ becomes /n/

UNSTRESSED VOWEL LOSS
Vowels are often lost before or after stressed syllables, though not always ( become <'bom'nable>)

DENTAL FRICATIVE LOSS
/θ/ becomes /t/
/ð/ becomes /d/

PALATAL FRICATIVE GAIN
/hj/ becomes /ç/

THE FIGHT FOUGHT MERGER
/a/ becomes /ɑ/
