Hello and welcome!

In this article, I will explain the basics of counting in Thonish. Thonish's counting system is senary (base 6) and the seven base numerals are translated as follows:
Zero (0): á
One (1): ál
Two (2): žói
Three (3): ÿái
Four (4): óil
Five (5): áiž
Six (6): kúl

Past the base numerals, numbers are written as a multiple of six plus the necessary other base numeral to reach the specific number (the base numeral is connected to kúl by "u" or "ul" depending on whether the following numeral begins with a vowel). When compounding numbers, the accent on kúl takes priority.

For example:

6: kúl
18: ÿaikúl
22: ÿaikúluloil
39: kukúluÿai
96: žoikúluloilkúl
100: žoikúluloilkúluloil
