[edit] [top]Word order

The word order in SoD (shortening of the real name) is SOV, like in Japanese. So instead of saying "My name is Khaat'a", you say "My name Khaat'a is".

The noun-adjective order is noun first, then adjective.

There are different types of genitives in SoD:

Non-Specific - , example: The dragon's gold (can mean either of the following, rarely used)
Possessing - example: The dragon's gold (the dragon is owning the gold)
Borrowing - example: The dragon's gold (the dragon is borrowing the gold from someone else)
Protecting Possesing - example: The dragon's gold (the dragon is protecting the gold for himself)
Protecting Borrowing - example: The dragon's gold (the dragon is protecting the gold for someon else)

Ethna - dragon
