[comments] tef I came to this island alone, well alone save for my crew. We were on our way to document some Polynesian language or somewhat and when we first saw land, we had thought we had arrived. However, upon our landing on the island and meeting with the natives, it became quickly apparent that they were NOT speaking any polynesian language that we were familiar with. I am Doctor George Fryslan, and these are my journals on the discovery of these people and their language. Oh! One of my colleagues is calling me away! They say that they've started to grasp the basic phonology and this is way too good of an opportunity to pass up.
