In the earlier days of Vitora the trade route between Vitoran city Merlas and the Portyblic capital Aganos begun to flourish. With that came the first writing systems and the concept of "writing down history". The people of Portybl called it 'ehtick' which by Vitorans started calling it 'ētik' - "journalism/writing down". Scholars in Merlas began learning script and writing, and became the first Vitoran journalists/writers of the time. In a decade of time a war went off in the eastern borders of Vitora against the Kingdom of Canybl, in which the scholars saw an opportunity to write stories about. Most scholars moved near the war frontier cities of Eka and Lisõmas, where they spread writing to the locals and taught scholars near the border. Over decades the cities Eka, Lisõmas and other surrounding cities became the literature capitals of Vitora, and scholars all over Vitora wanting to learn authentic Vitoran literature moved there to learn from the best. Fast forward time to when the Vitoran government had to decide on its official writing system and how the language is going to be taught in schools, the leader of Vitora at the time, Leris Myõzhu decided on adopting the Ekaan (denonym of Eka) writing system, as it was the most popular and famous of all others. ✎ Edit Article ✖ Delete Article
