I love these, and I agree. The grammar tables are weird. These look great though ^_^

I have problems with how the grammar tables work on this site, mostly because I don't have the time or energy to figure out how PhoMo works, but I also just don't like them. This article will have a bunch of different grammar stuff.
There's a few sound changes depending on where a phoneme is, in relation to both other phonemes and the word itself. I don't feel like putting these in a table.
- æ becomes ɑ at the end of a word
- b and p become v before æ
- ɛ will become ə at the end of a word
- w becomes m before ə
- ie becomes i, ɪ, ɛ, aɪ, eɪ, or oʊ at the end of a word
Singular | Plural | |
---|---|---|
Animate | If contains {ɑ,o,ʊ}: Suffix -tɑ Else: Suffix -taɪ̯ zhoyâtâ /ʒoˈjɑtɑ/ cat | If contains {ɑ,o,ʊ}: Suffix -naɪ̯ Else: Suffix -nei̯ zhoyânâi /ʒoˈjɑnaɪ̯/ cats |
Inanimate | If contains {ɑ,o,ʊ}: Suffix -ti Else: Suffix -tɪ thiŝuti /ðiˈɬʊti/ tree | If contains {ɑ,o,ʊ}: Suffix -zɑ Else: Suffix -zaɪ̯ thiŝuzâ /ðiˈɬʊzɑ/ trees |

Notes:
Definite Article: Not used for uncountable nouns, so the phrase 'look at the sky' would translate to 'look at sky.'
Indefinite Article: Not used for non-specific nouns, so the question 'Would you like some (any) tea?' would always translate to 'Would you like tea.' This also applies to countable nouns: 'I am looking for a (any) flower' would translate to 'I am looking for flower.'
