There are 4 words for colours in Sanguine Rythulian:jaka (red), ńawo (chartreuse), fika (light), and ipa (dark).
English words do not map well onto Sanguine Rythulian's colour system. If you must specify, or if you want to be poetic, you could give a helping hand to designate what particular colour you're talking about. Sky blue would be pami a fika (sky-light), and a navy, night sky blue would be pami a ipa (sky-dark). Yellow might be apisa a ńawo (sun-chartreuse), whereas green might be afi a ńawo (leaf-chartreuse). Brown could be ońo a jaka (wood-red), but a particularly dark brown might be ońo a ipa (wood-dark).
