About Letrahuine
Letrahuine is a conlang which was constructed by author k. D. wilson over a period of five years.
"Nea Rahua, also known as Letrahuine, or the Rahume language, is a language spoken by a collective of ethnic groups native to Letrahui, the Bayland, who are known collectively as Hehuines. There are about four or five dialects, which share syntax and grammar, although they have slight differences based on the degree to which loanwords have been included from foreign languages, and pronunciation has been altered because of the same process of cultural diffusion. Three dialects, for example have borrowed to some degree from Spanish and French respectively. The main two dialects, which are considered “proper Nea Rahua” and are spoken largely by the Letrahuine and Akuwailean communities, while the others are spoken by the Borezal and Suheni communities. The variations in Rahume speech are a result of colonialism. Letrahui is one of many regions once held under the control of European imperial authority. This colonial experience has shaped much of the literature produced by Hehuine peoples today."
