About Bulqanic
Spoken as a dialect by the Arabic migrants to the Balkans, the Balqanic language held as a language of settlements, and easily saw Balkan influences as well as Turkish ones. Over a period of 300 years the Arabs of the Balkans were assimilated and assimilated others as well, and as such the language diverted enough from Arabic to be considered a separate language. Most of its speakers were forced to return to the middle east after the Balkan wars, where thousands of them were rounded up and deported in an act of hatred, and saw their villages burned down. Most of these people settled in Turkey, primarily in Bursa and Istanbul, however a significant minority continued on their path and ended up in Syria and Jordan, where several families such as the Bushnak and the Balqani are associated with this cultural group, and to this day some elders can speak this language, and 3,000 people claim fluency in this language. The general head of the Balqanic people is the Balqanic Institute of Istanbul, which oversees lingual patterns as well as housing over 95% of books written in this language, and as such is considered their head. They are a recognized minority in Turkey and Jordan, but hold no special rights simply due to the fact that in any given area they don't make up more than 0.2% of the total population.
