verb [GE] Gender Exempt tɑkʰʔut tak'oot
[tɑkʰʔut]
rest
(...oneself; take rest)
 Mighty
Etymology
Etymology of Creation: Unduly complex working through of many languages working back to the idea of valuable, tɑkʔ, being the root of where one rests / dwells, their seat of power. The ut ending, which was ud first, was really to make it match with PIE *sed, since I started all this to develop the word for chair. Even looking at my notes again, I'm not sure how I got from *sed to ʔut but in the end Mighty is supposed to be its own thing, and I like the word, so I'm keeping it.

A note of interest, I started the whole derivation process with the Quecha word 'Tiyay' - to sit / reside / be in. I don't think the convoluted path to tɑkʰʔut is worthwhile for other rules, so I'm just going to skip its journey through itzal, sino-tibetan, sumerian, nostratic, and other Mighty words.

Fictional Etymology: From tɑkʔ, valuable, and ut, by the means of. This is the act of resting on your valuables to keep them safe and yourself full of value. It is how one infuses value into a given set.
Notes
Literally 'to be the means of putting value in a given set,' envalue or something like that. However it means the place where one is sedentary. So a seat / dwelling place / nest. Since this concept is considered a necessity for all genders in much the same way, even if the form might take on different iterations for a particular Mighty of any given gender, there is no gendering of this word, instead it takes on the gender of the referent, the person dwelling.
