About WWM This language wants you to call it WWM, since its full name, Wanyima-Wanyóa, which means 'the new language of you and I', is rather long. The name was given to it by its western neighbors, who thought of themselves as having a more archaic form of the languages, against which WWM was considered more innovative. It actually is fairly innovative as it has become more synthetic.

It was spoken around 1000 BCE in the pink area on the flag, in what is now  Magali, Sahar. Descendants are spoken across a large area of Akulanen, from northern Magali east through Shohai to northern Amerhan. The largest is Yavodna, spoken by about 30 million people in Magali.

latest news: semshifting finished after more than a year, all words are canonical!

Current status: finishing touches on grammar (completing morphophonology article and adding examples to grammar article mainly).

Features:

-Australian-ish in phonology

-do you like morphophonology? I sure hope you do

-Accent is usually initial (unmarked) or on second syllable (marked) unless there's a case prefix, but don't worry, any non-initial stress is marked. In some of the daughters it turns back into tone!

-there are prefixing cases, which are ergative in alignment

-However, verb marking is usually nominative-accusative, though there are a few very specific exceptions

-imperatives mark location and aspect

-transitivity marking on verbs: if a verb ends in -ma, it is transitive

-elevation and direction marking on verbs!

-an absurd number of words for tea
