About Shilgngí / Antinglish An experimental language inspired by the thought "What language would have the opposite typology to English?" I answered a Quora question to that effect and it was treated as if it was an actual language, so I decided to make one. It aims to be as 'opposite' to English as possible in grammar and word formation specifically, although there is no definitive opposite to many English grammar points so it's often a question of just trying to be as different from English as possible. Phonologically it will largely copy English, and lexically it will be formed by reversing basic English stems, avoiding homophony or derived forms (since the language has its own, different patterns of derivation). Its name is "English" in reverse and its name for English is "Antinglish" in reverse, "Shilgngitná". I hope it will be of interest to English users and learners, especially those focused on its grammar and word formation, by virtue of being the greatest contrast.
I have a page on this language on my own website.

Stress informationStress is shown in Shilgngí by means of an acute accent on the vowel. This is on both vowel letters with long vowels and diphthongs. The apostrophe ' , used for the central vowels, cannot be accented; however the schwa ' is never stressed, while the NURSE vowel '' is always stressed. Stress is always within the lexical part of the word, not any grammatical affix.
