About Seólish
Ah, Seólis. Once a mishmash of features, with a focus on including every strange, yet easily understandable grammatical feature I could find. An orthography with an overabundance of acute accents, making évérythíng lóók súpér clúttéréd. But I'm still attached to it and its speakers, a race of plague-bearing maidens that could be used in a future DnD game.
So, it's getting made over! No more OSV, no more accents for common sounds, and basically gutting this thing and turning it into a better version of itself. I've learned how slender and broad consonants work, learned about lenition in Celtic languages, and am ready to flip this thing upside down and make it pretty. I plan on exploring more of the worldbuilding aspect, since a being who exists to spread sickness would have a very different worldview than a human.
* Infectable, Uninfectable, Immune, and Seóla genders
* Possessive, Lative, Ablative 1 and 2, and Locative cases
* Interrogative, Conditional, Imperative, Hypothetical, Inferential, and Infinitive moods
* Far past, past, present, near future, future, and far future tenses
* Lots of sweet, sweet lenition <3
