About Sékyoj
Yobu. Yuyobukyozalakyorweboelo.

Sékyoj is an artlang for a webcomic. It is spoken on an alien planet called Karogyko (in Sékyoj), and is spoken in one of the four continents known as Ipipro.

Features
Phonetics and Phonotactics
- Sékyoj has a total of 22 consonants, and 9 vowels.
- Clusters can get somewhat complicated with a possible CVCCC syllable structure (although it tends to be rare).

Syntax and Grammar Features
- Sékyoj uses the Topic-Comment structure, and clauses are formed in a VOS (Verb Object Subject) word order, however the topic of the sentence always comes at the beginning even before the verb.
- Sékyoj is a very verb heavy language that conjugates in three tenses (Past, Present, Future) and three moods (Indicative, Interrogative, and Potential), as well affixes to add extra modal or evidentiary information.
- Most verbs are commands or instructions when not conjugated
- Sékyoj has no explicit adjectives, however a special set of verbs function like adjectives rather than commands when they are not conjugated.
- Compound nouns are extremely common in Sékyoj as it is very agglutinative in how it forms words. The language functions kind of like lego-bricks (although there are a few forms of inflection).
- Nouns overall can fit into two tangibility cases (these are marked by a plethora of different affixes); these cases being tangible and intangible nouns.

Cultural Features
- The species that speaks this language can have either nine or ten fingers; in Ipipro (the continent where Sékyoj is spoken) the nine-finger gene is more common so the language uses a nonary number system.
- Gender in Ipipro is very loosely defined and has little cultural weight so many words lack gendered categories including pronouns and kinship terms.
