About Qazan (East Qazan) Qazan is one of the few Qan-Niqal languages, and is a close relative to the Balut language and a cousin of the Mihin language. Qazan has two written standards.

East Qazan (Tözqazańsar) - the most widely used written standard and is based off of the spoken variety in Jalsatyń - the capital of Qazania/Khaazland which was determined by Atqar Qarwy Qaldai - the most important prophet in Qaldaism. East Qazan features more Taara* loanwords, and consonants tend to sound harsher compared to the other written standard.

Qazan Kalda (Kaldasar) - the other variety based off of the spoken variety near Arsatyń, around the birthplace of Atqar Qarwy Qaldai. Kaldasar features more Mihin loanwards.

Changes from Proto-Qan-Niqal:
-Instrumental case and transitive case lost
-Nominative/accusative distinction developed
-Loss of potential form of a verb(developed into a separate verb instead)
-Several consonant and vowel shifts
-There is kind of a phonemic length distinction
-Verbs have an infinitive form, unlike in Proto-Qan-Niqal where the root would be used directly as the infinitive
-A converb indicator has been developed
-Evidentiality shown by suffix + auxiliary verb "to have"

Fun facts about Qazan people:
-DEVOTIONISM, actually no, QALDAISM (jetism but even more jetist)
-Lots of colonisation in history (thats not very fun is it)
-Extremely loyal to their religion (the government tries to convince ppl at least)
-Theocratic government (definitely not corrupt)
-Amaranth whiskey, wine and beer (alcohol is kinda banned for the most part tho)

*Note: Taara in this context refers to a spoken South Bavkiri language that is the predecessor to  Shalfara, a language still spoken in the North-East of Qazania, not to be confused with the conlang by @aralxed777
