Proto-Littoro-Marianic (PLM) is the reconstructed ancestor of the Littoro-Marianic branch of the Asuranesian language family, the predominant family of languages in Asuranesia and the largest branch of the Asuranesian family by number of distinct languages.

[view] About AsuranesianAsuranesian is a family of languages spoken across the Asura Ocean, Nagu (where the family is believed to have originated) and around the edge of Upper Boroso.
[edit] [view] * (Central-Western Littoro-Marianic)The Central-Western Littoro-Marianic languages (CWLM) form a proposed branch of the Littoro-Marianic languages or perhaps a linkage. Supposedly defined by reduction of the vowel *u to a hypershort *ŭ preceding labials and velars, allophonic palatalisation, and lexical items not found in other members of LM.
