About Royal Tongue Mabrahoring, or the "Royal Tongue", is the language of devils. It is precise, orderly, and excruciatingly literal. It is difficult for anyone but devils and magical constructs to speak - though some do learn to speak it, namely scholars of language and of the planes.

Mabrahoring uses a simple but vaguely menacing script, replete with little barbed flourishes and jagged edges; this script is an abjad, a sort of writing system in which only the consonants are written and the vowels must be supplied by the reader. This makes interpreting Mabrahoring texts difficult and potentially dangerous, especially when entering contracts with devils, as the abundance of words identical in consonant content means that any given sentence could be read in a dozen different ways.
